The Ocean’s Charm

The soft sand swirls gently in the air,
Caressed by the fingertips of weather so fair.
The wind whips up a warm summer breeze,
That ever so gently sways the palm trees.

The cool blue water reeks of pure delight,
Enticing people to enter without a fight.
As waves steadily roll in, one by one,
They crash into frothy foam as if all is fun

Not a sound can be heard except for the waves,
And the seagulls that give battle cries like braves.
Circling the sky in majestic flight,
Looking for crumbs, ready to pick a fight.

The clouds lounge lazily in the sky.
Creating figures to amuse the eye.
A mother calls her daughter in from play.
For the charms of the ocean last more than one day.
